I’m an Independent Creative Professional

In a nutshell, that means I sit in front my computer every day dabbling with design,
web development and blogging.

On this site you’ll find articles about graphic and web design, web development,
marketing, advertising and some other useful stuff that comes to my mind from
time to time.

Following the steps of great designers like Jason Santa Maria, Gregory Wood and
Elliot Jay Stocks I opted to unleash a bit of my creativity on some pages. Obviously,
these pages will probably not work with Internet Explorer.

    How it all began

    Like any other ordinary computer nerd, I had a profound lack of social abilities.

    I started dabbling with computers at an early age. My first computer was a TK2000 where I experienced first contact
    with programming languages using Basic. After that I’ve messed my way around computer hardware from the first PC XT
    to the latest Intel PC. Some time before Internet become mainstream I played with BBSs and since then, my passion
    for everything digital had only grown stronger.

    But, like any other ordinary computer nerd, I had a profound lack of social abilities. When it came my time to
    go to college I’ve decided to try to improve my social skills by pursuing an advertising and marketing degree.
    With subjects like art, philosophy and sociology I was certain that I would expand my personal skills. It was
    during this years that I’ve learned a whole new set of skills from design to business administration.

    After graduating, together with two other colleagues, I founded PO4, an advertising agency in which I was
    big regional clients like Market Place Shopping Center, Ultrafarma and multinationals like Discovery Channel.

    After four years working full speed at PO4, everything it was going great but I was felling the need for bigger
    challenges. With that in mind I’ve sold my share of the business to my partners and moved to London, UK.
    Since then I’ve been pursuing a career in the Internet business by going freelance for business and individuals
    all over the world.

    Never Stop Moving Forward

    I strongly believe that one of the most significant things that any individual can do with its own life is to pursuit a
    permanent self-improvement. Never stop moving forward.

    Every step I took in my life made me a more mature, skillful and confident individual. Like
    Socrates, all I know is that I
